Role Summary
The Generalist, People & Culture holds a very important role within the People & Culture team. The successful candidate will use their expertise to become a trusted team member, providing administrative support for projects and day-to-day operations. This person will be action oriented, a self-starter, attentive to detail and an excellent communicator. This role is a 6 month contract.
Major Areas of Responsibility

Lead onboarding, ensuring a motivating and comfortable transition into becoming a Project X employee through personable introductions and orientation, as well as back-end processing.

Assist with the development of human resources policies and programs.

Ability to extract meaningful people & culture data and communicate metrics in an insightful way to enable business decision making

Maintain employee-related databases and generate reports.

Juggle employee requests, project work and regularly scheduled people initiatives and assignments.
- Conduct research on subjects such as compensation, employee perks and HR tools.

Day-to-day benefits administration services.

Assist the Talent Acquisition team in full cycle recruitment.

Prepare and maintain confidential employment / contract documentation and status within the ATS.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other

Employment law knowledge

Strong writing and Microsoft excel skills

Experience with a compensation software is an asset
Required Education and Experience:

Post-secondary Human Resources education or related
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- CHRP designation is an asset but not required
