REGISTRATION QUESTIONS
Why do I need to register?
Registration allows you to protect the information you submit to Rouge Valley. It also allows you to save Job Searches (up to 30) and establish a Personal Job List to track jobs you are interested in and have applied for. You can also store up to 10 different versions of your rsum plus cover letters and modify them at any time.
To help ensure this information is protected, only you should know the username and password you use for this site.
Is my registration information secure?
Yes. Your use of the Rouge Valley Career Site (hosted by workopolis.com) is governed by the Privacy and Confidentiality provisions on the workopolis.com site.
How do I deactivate my account?

ONLINE APPLICATION QUESTIONS
What is the best format to use for my rsum?
The best format for your rsum is Plain Text. Before you copy and paste your rsum, save it as Plain Text in your word processing document. Rich Text formats do not translate well once you submit your application.
If you wish to maintain certain formats, you may use HTML tags, however; please note that your rsum is being evaluated on content, not format. You can preview how your rsum will appear to the Rouge Valley recruiter or recruiting team by logging on to My Rsums and clicking the Preview icon to the right of the rsum name.
How do I know my application has been received?
You will receive an e-mail acknowledging that Rouge Valley has received your rsum. We will also notify you if our recruiting team determines your skills and background match our current hiring needs.
We ask all job applicants and staff to participate. The information you provide is strictly confidential and kept separate from all other employee records. Access to this information is limited and is only used for statistical purposes.
I have submitted my application, but now realize I made an error in the information I provided. What should I do?
You can't re-apply for the position, but you can update the information in any rsum you submitted by clicking the name of the rsum you wish to modify. Once you save the changes, the rsum you submitted will be updated.

PROCESS QUESTIONS
Can I apply for more than one position at a time?
You are encouraged to apply for any and all positions you are interested in. In addition, you may wish to save your resum and mark it Public in the My Resums section. By doing so, the entire Rouge Valley recruiting community can search and find your resum.
What happens to my rsum once I have applied?
If you are applying for a specific position, your rsum will be directed automatically to the Rouge Valley recruiter responsible for filling that position. After evaluating your skills and background, the recruiter may contact you for further information or an interview. Your rsum will be maintained in the Rouge Valley database and will be available only to our recruiting team.
I have received an email message from a Rouge Valley recruiter as a result of an application I recently submitted. What is the best way to respond?
The best way to respond is to reply to the message you received; this ensures that your reply is automatically directed to the Rouge Valley recruiter who sent the message.
I am unable to apply on-line. What should I do?
Some job posting descriptions include an alternate application method, such as a fax number.
